2 x long-sleeved tops (black or white + accent color)

2 x basic tank tops for summer

2 x accent-colored blouses in a dressy, smart fabric to suit all occasions

2 x blazers (black and stone) that fit and flatter your shape to take you from work to play

1 x black cardigan that isn’t too baggy or frumpy

LONG-SLEEVED CLASSIC TOPS—BLACK AND ACCENT COLORS

You’ll need two of these classic tops. Both should have a neckline that flatters you, be it a wide scoop or a V-neck. Ideally, stay away from a very high round neck as this makes the top harder to layer when the high neck risks peeking out from under your other clothes.

A black top is essential. I’m sure you can see how easily you could match that with lots of outfits, although you could swap it out for a white if you prefer. In black, this top can be layered underneath dresses, taking them from summer to winter.
